MEMO PROJECT
This site is a prefiguration platform for the MEMO project, presenting the project's research forces, their scientific output and the tools (platforms and databases) that will be mobilized as part of the research.
A melting pot and “crossroads” of civilizations, the Mediterranean is a geopolitical space of major interest to the French State, where societal fault lines, political alliances and collective aspirations are continuously being reshaped. By choosing this area as a laboratory for contemporary societal and geopolitical issues, the MÉMO project aims to mobilize social sciences and humanities to build, with and for public authorities and socio-economic actors, tools for analysis, prospective thinking, decision-making and actionon issues crucial to national sovereignty and to achieving civilization.
The MEMO-SHS collection presents the scientific production of the consortium members since 2019, complemented by their previous major productions for the project.
